AURORA BALTIKA hosiery factory established in 1947 in Riga, Latvia.
Nowadays AURORA BALTIKA is
a privately owned company located in Ogre and Daugavpils (Latvia), one
of the largest manufacturers of hosiery and socks in the Baltic
countries.
The company acquired one more factory – SWEDTEX located in Daugavpils (220 km from Riga) in December, 2003.
Up-to-date design and shades,
high quality, attractive packaging and moderate prices are the main
characteristics of our produce. The enterprise uses modern technology
and equipment which allows to manufacture up to 65 million pairs a year.
AURORA BALTIKA and SWEDTEX manufacture wide range of hosiery
wear inclusive of pantyhose – sheer and opaque, stockings, knee
– highs, socks and foot slips for ladies, socks for men, tights,
knee-highs and socks for children. The produce is made of quality raw
materials – wool, cotton, silk, polyamide, lycra, microfiber, etc.
We offer a choice of goods for each season, for everyday wear and special occasions.
AURORA BALTIKA produce
has been traditionally popular among the customers of different age
groups not only in Latvia and CIS countries but also in Germany. Today
it became recognized in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, USA, and
other countries. Here only should be added that our customers consider
us as a reliable partner.
We efficiently handle designs
and special needs of our customers. Our customers are welcome to use
their own labes. We can apply your labels to our designs and yours.
EU co-financed project
On 11th of November, 2009 funding reciever SIA “Aurora Baltika”
has signed a contract Nr. L-ATA-09-0179 with goverment agency "Investment and Development Agency
of Latvia" on implementing of the project "External marketing activities of
"Aurora Baltika" – Fairs abroad 2009-2010" which is co-financed by European Regional Development Fund (ERAF).
