I have never been great with numbers, which is surprising since I own my own business. Taking care of my own pay though is a piece of cake since I am self employed. At the end of the year, I just take everything to an accountant who puts together my taxes for me. I knew that I was going to need some holiday help though, so I hired two part time workers. I did not want to pay my accountant to do their taxes, so I went online to see if I could find a pay stub maker that would turn it from a scary job into an easy one.
I just knew that I was paying my accountant, and I honestly did not want that added expense for her to figure out pay just for a couple of months for two workers. I knew that there had to be programs out there where I could just plug in the numbers and press a button for the completed form. Just because I am not good with numbers does not mean that I have no common sense, so it was pretty easy for me to find exactly what I needed.
The pay stub maker that I found was even easier to use than I thought it would be. I had to put in some basic information for each of the women that I had hired to help me, and then I put in how many hours they each worked along with their hourly rate. Everything was figured out for me after that, and all I had to do was write out the check after the forms were emailed to me. I wish my own was as easy to do as that, but I am thankful that at least this was easy for me to do, saving me money in the long run.
